1. Day 1Day 1: Arrival at Phuentsholing – Gateway to Bhutan

   Welcome to Bhutan. Upon arrival in Jaigaon, you will be greeted by the tour executives for travel to Bhutan. Today you will do the registraion and bimetric formalities and see Phuentsholing town. Phuentsholing is a border town in southern Bhutan, and isthe administrative seat of Chukha District. Itlies opposite the Indian town of Jaigaon and cross border trade has resulted in a thriving local economy. Phuentsholing had a population of 28,000 as of 2017 and has been growing since then.
