Manali, Solang & Kasol on a Budget: Our Every-Friday Group Trip

4 October 2026 By Exporio Holidays Travel Desk

Manali is the most popular weekend escape from Delhi, and our Friday group trips are the easiest way to do it on a budget. Here's what the trip looks like and which version to choose.

Two ways to do it

The route, day by day

  • Friday night: overnight drive from Delhi in a traveller or bus.
  • Day 2: Manali local sightseeing: Hadimba Temple, Vashisht hot springs, Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar and Mall Road.
  • Day 3: Solang Valley, the Atal Tunnel and Sissu Waterfall in Lahaul.
  • Day 4: Parvati Valley, Kasol market and Manikaran Sahib with its natural hot springs.
  • Last night: overnight drive back, reaching Delhi in the morning.

Best time to go

March to June is pleasant for sightseeing and cafes; December to February brings snow at Solang and Sissu (roads can close after heavy snowfall). Monsoon months can bring landslides, so itineraries may change for safety.

What's included and what's not

Stays on a double or triple sharing basis, breakfast and dinner, transport and guide service are included. Adventure activities such as paragliding or snow scooters at Solang, entry fees and en-route meals are paid on the spot.

Packing list

  • Warm layers: even summer evenings in Manali are cold.
  • Comfortable shoes with grip for snow points.
  • Power bank, as the overnight drives are long.
  • Cash for Solang activities and Kasol cafes.
